New Year's Resolution...kind of

As I was talking to my sister-in-law Ashley over Christmas, I realized I am guilty of many things that I could change if I wanted to. For my New Year's Resolution I will take the first step, admittance, and then hopefully work toward changing these odd behaviors that will utimately make either Tim, or I more happy (or more co-habitable).

1. I use way too much soap. For everything. Including: clothes, dishes, wiping down surfaces, and shampoo and conditioner.
2. I am sure that there are spiders living in my clothes, and in my bed. Every night I check for spiders, and when I get anything out of my closet, I shake it furiously to get the spiders out. How many have I found? None.
3. I fall asleep the second I get into bed. Problem you ask? YES! I have only listened to the first couple verses of all the chapters in the Bible.
4. I iron everything. Pants, shirts, curtains, sheets and pillowcases. I used to iron my dish towels because they were linen, but I've switched to cotton, so I let those slide. Thank goodness the toliet paper comes neatly pressed!
5. I CANNOT relax until everything is in it's place! When Tim comes home and tosses his clothes around the living room, and puts his hat and belt in my arrangement of apples, I physically want to throw-up. I have chucked a pillow at his face for doing such erroneous things!

As you can see I have problems, and these are only the ones I have been made aware of as of late! I am sure that having children will solve many if not all of the above, so hopefully we can jump on that bandwagon in the near future! Good luck to all on your New Year's Resolutions!

OH! Timmy-poo!!

Look how cute this little ornament is! It's Tim as a cub scout! I couldn't resist posting this little number for all of you to enjoy!

Temple Square

For my Christmas present, Tim stopped off at Temple Square and let me see the lights before we headed the rest of the way down to Price. It still amazes me how beautiful it is! I will never get sick of seeing the lights on Temple Square! (I could go without getting attacked by sister missionaries though) HA!

Are we in an airplane?

The weather was so crazy driving down to Price for Christmas. I don't think this picture does it justice, but with the clouds laying so low it felt like we were flying above the clouds! That would have helped the 5 hour drive, that turned into more like 7 with the bad roads!

Holiday Hair at AKA

The day before we left for break, we let our creativity loose on Holiday Hair! Those who left their creations in all day got a special treat! The girl (Kim) with the christmas tree hair had no idea that the popcorn they strung on her was actually covered in white chocolate! You can't be picky when scrounging for decorations Kim! Ha!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We all tried really hard to be serious this year, but it just didn't work out. My dad kept saying "We are thankful dis gay" in the prayer, and after way too much pie, this is what happened....

One of my instructors, Heather wanted me to make capes for her 3-year-old son Layton for Christmas. She was excited that he had an interest in super-heros, because lately all he has wanted to do is play with dollheads at the school, which we all think is cute and funny. So, I made batman, superman, lightening layton, and his initials over a star.

But, I thought it would be funny if I snuck this one in the mix. If you can't tell it's the outline of a dollhead and a comb and shears!

I've been TAGGED (thanks alot Kim!!)

To get back at Kim I would like to announce that it is her birthday on Nov. 3!!! Happy Birthday Kim! I hope you have the best day ever!

What is your husband's name? Timothy
How long have you been married? 5 big ones
How long did you date? 4 months, engaged 5 months
How old is he? 30
Who eats more sweets? Tim by a landslide (I find wrappers under his pillow! Ha Ha)
Who said "I love you" first? Tim, when we first started dating he said he was awkward at the whole "dating thing" but he kissed me the next date, and told me he loved me like a week later!
Who is taller? Tim, by a head
Who can sing the best? For sure me, but Tim sings better than he thinks
Who is smarter? Tim is smarter at numbers, and analyzing things, but I have more common sense. HA HA
Who pays the bills? I do, but Tim knows exactly where everything is going
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do! Tim is a lefty
Who mows the lawn? It's evenly split between us. I love to mow the lawn, don't know why, but I do, and Tim feels like he isn't doing his part as the male provider if he doesn't do yard work at least some of the time.
Who cooks dinner? I have been up until the last month or so. I have been trying to stay late at school to get more hours, so Tim will cook if I text him what to make.
Who drives? Tim usually, but he would let me any time I wanted. I fall asleep super easy, so if it is past 9 o'clock, it is safer if he does.
Who kissed who first? Tim, he tricked me into thinking he was shy and awkward.
Who asked who out first? I think I kind of did. The first time I met Tim was when he came over to my apartment with his friends. I had just broken up with a guy, and was sure I was over dating, when I saw Tim. He was dressed in an old western shirt with his chest hair hanging out, and a camo NAPA hat over his long curly hair. I wondered what kind of person would walk around in public like that, so I started talking to him. Long story short we found out we both played guitar and I told him he should come over for a jam session, and he did the next day. We spent almost every day together after that!
Who wears the pants? I am tempted to say that I do, but really it's my cat Morgan. No, but really I trust Tim, and he knows that, so if I feel really strongly about something, he bends pretty easily.

I tag Meg, Laura, and Heidi
Happy Halloween!!
Here are some of the photos I took at Austin Kade. We all dressed up and had little trick-or-treaters come to our stations for treats! It was super fun to see all those cute kids in their costumes (and the students too).

These are the "nerds" (Whitney, Stacy, Britney)

I could not get over how freakin cute this little golfer was! He looks like a little man!

This is the owner/instructor of Austin Kade, Allison Price. Nobody even knew it was her! She freaked us all out. She is very pretty as a girl, so this made me want to cry. She even acted like a man!

I was a horse trainer this year. My pony Elmer (glue) got a little wild at the end of day, too much sugar! She bucked when Whitney tried to ride with us. It was actually pretty funny, she tried putting her feet through the stirrups, but Elmer is a one-woman pony!

This is my cat Morgan. OH! How sweet! What a cute little cat! She could never do anything to upset me! Right?.......
NO! DEVIL CAT! You will understand why when you see the next photo!

No, that's not a magic trick, those are actual holes Morgan has ripped through my curtains! Ahhhh! She is de-clawed, but apparently you can't take out their teeth! I borrowed Kylee Evan's prom dress for the photo shoot, and hung it in my closet. Well, I went to get it out, and Morgan had chewed up the skirt! With some pursuation Kylee is still my friend, (Kylee was way cool about it) but Morgan isn't getting any "wet food" for a couple of months until I can re-pay Kylee!

Tim's mom Debbie grows her hair out and then donates it to Locks of Love! I got the honor of cutting it all off! It was a good excuse to spend the day together!

I got the comb stuck in her hair! Opps! Nah, I didn't I'm just crazy! I don't know what exactly I was thinking when this picture was being taken, but I thought it was entertaining none-the-less! Debbie felt like a rolladex with all those foils in her hair!

You can tell she is a little traumatized! Just kidding, she is very easy going, and trusted me the whole way! Thanks Mama Cardon!

How cute! You can see doll heads in the background, quick story about that! So my niece Hailey is queen of making up names, and one name she made up was "Jefferica" which is hillarious, so I named one of my doll heads that. Well Jefferica has a twin sister (another doll head) so Tim came up with "Japhernine" for her! What? You can tell those two are related!

I love this picture because it looks like we have a fillion kids together, when really we are just borrowing them! They are our cutie-face nieces and nephews! Tim and I don't have kids yet, but we are working on it! Apparently it's not normal to be married 5 years without kids! Who knew?

Here I am at Austin Kade Academy! I started in April and hope to be finished in March. I have had so many incredible experiences because of Austin Kade, like meeting the members of Shear Genius at NAHA, getting taught by Phillip Wilson, and designing clothes for Allison Price's NAHA photo shoot! LOVE IT!
Here I am at NAHA with Nicholas French, and my good friend Annie Brown (soon to be Cooper)

So I am putting together some dresses for Allison's photo shoot, and I thought I would post them, so everyone tell me what you think! The shoot is on Thursday and I need some moral support! I seriously want to throw-up just looking at my sewing machine, and I have 3 more to make! Wish me luck!
