Full Circle

There are a lot of instances in life when I can see I have come "full circle", and today I realized the closing of another one. I started out on a learning journey exactly one year ago yesterday, and will be nearing the end in about a month. It has been a bumpy, scary, exciting, rewarding, self-improving, humbling experience. Who knew hairstylists worked so hard? Who knew we were smart, motivated, caring people? Who knew we would snap each others last nerve right in two? (I kinda did) One journey ending, another beginning- I look forward to the hills and valleys. I am forever thankful for a supporting husband who pushed and pushed, with love. Who listened to my silly rants, who stayed home with me on my "mental health days", and who helped me realize a hidden talent.
"In the end it all comes down to this: you have a choice (or more accurately a rolling tangle of choices) between giving your work your best shot and risking that it will not make you happy, or not giving it you best shot- and thereby guaranteeing that it will not make you happy. It becomes a choice between certainty and uncertainty. And curiously, uncertainty is the comforting choice." -Art & Fear

Hey Stacey it is me, Jewelle Jones! I can't remember if I ever gave you my blog address or not so I figured I would give it to you now. If you have it already just consider me having a "blonde" moment. http://jewelleandrussell.blogspot.com/

So Ben and his wife live right behind us. We go on walks every night right past their house. What a small world huh?! I hope you come visit them sometime so we can see you. You were a great friend to me. Thanks for all your visits and babysitting!

Congrats!! When do you graduate? Where are you going to work? That is seriously awesome that you are a hairstylist. We will have to swap ideas...I am currently in the market for a new color line so if you have any suggestions just let me know!

I can't believe that you are that close to being done. I'll have to make an appointment and see if you learned anything or if you just goofed around.

Hi Stac! It was so good to see a picture of your family. They are so awesome. I can't believe how much time has past- Chelsey is so old. It's crazy-she was just a little girl when we hung out. Your hair show looked so neat. Hope things are going great.
